Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Thursday said Nigerians are eager to have the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) back in power in 2023.

The pan Yoruba socio political organisation, Afenifere, has advised the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), to focus on ending insecurity in the country instead of hunting for freedom fighters.

President Muhammadu Buhari has assented to the 2021 Supplementary Appropriation Bill submitted to the National Assembly in June.

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to travel to the United Kingdom on Monday, said his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), will leave Abuja today for London to see his doctors and participate in the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education 2021-2025.
