The Lagos State Government has warned religious leaders in the state against a second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, urging them to intensify safety protocols to avert the spread of the virus.
The N1 trillion rebuilding of Lagos – devasted by the destruction that accompanied the #EndSARS protests – has started.
It explained that the closure was in accordance with the ongoing Nigerian Railway Modernisation Project (Lagos-Ibadan section) with an extension to Lagos Port, Apapa.
Thirty-one vehicles have been forfeited to the Lagos State government for moving against the traffic on one-way roads.
The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has proposed to end the payment of pensions and other entitlements to former governors of the state and their deputies, but the move has not received the backing of other state governors in the country.
