Detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has pleaded not guilty to the seven-count amended charge the Federal Government preferred against him.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila says he did not compare the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Yoruba Nation agitators with the dreaded Boko Haram and ISWAP, as reported by a cross-section of the media.
The Presidency said on Wednesday September 15, 2021 that the Yoruba Nation’s talk of human rights promotion must be ignored because of its association with the Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB.
The Federal Government said yesterday, Wednesday September 15 2021, it would soon resolve issues with micro-blogging platform, Twitter, and relax the ban placed on its operation in the country.
The Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has threatened to seal banks and punish market and motor-park leaders who will dare stay at home on Mondays or any day so declared by the Indigenous People of Biafra.
