Seyi Makinde appoints Tribune Politics Editor, Taiwo Adisa, as Chief Press Secretary

The new Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has appointed Nigerian Tribune Politics Editor, Mr Taiwo Adisa as Chief Press Secretary.

Adisa’s appointment was conveyed in a letter signed on Makinde’s behalf by his Chief of Staff, Mr Bisi Ilaka and issued on Monday.

Adisa, who hails from Ogbomoso South local government of the state has a Bachelor and Master of Arts degree in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan and is currently undertaking a PhD programme in Media Arts at the University of Abuja.

He previously served as Special Assistant (Media Relations) to former President of the Senate, Senator Adolphus Wabara between 2003 and May 2005.

Adisa’s appointment follows those of Mr Bisi Ilaka as Chief of Staff and Professor Sayed Malik as Chairman of Muslim Wing of the state Pilgrims Welfare Board.
