Premier League giants Arsenal appears to have named their price for want-away striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has been linked with a move to join Barcelona this summer.
Although the Gabonese forward has one more year on his current contract with the Gunners, he will however not rule out a chance to join the Catalans.
The Camp Nou outfit signed Martin Braithwaite earlier this year after Ousmane Dembele suffered another major injury that ruled him out until the end of the campaign.
According to UK Express, the Gunners have slapped a fee of around £50 million for the striker despite having just one season left on his deal.
Lautaro Martinez is Barca’s first target, but they are willing to sign the former Borussia Dortmund star if they missed out on the Argentine. Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte might not be ready to part ways with his influential forward anytime soon.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has insisted that Aubameyang is part of his long term plan and would do anything to keep the 30-year-old.
He said: “We will have to do that at some stage before the end of the season for sure and we will see the intentions that we have (and) his intentions. “Where we are sitting in (the table at) that moment. I think it is difficult to predict that context right now.
The Gabonese attacker has been superb for his side so far this campaign – scoring 17 goals and one assist in 26 Premier League matches.
