The authorities of the university have therefore directed that the 2019/2020 First Semester Examinations earlier postponed will now commence on Wednesday, 24th February 2021.

Recall that the University was shut after a Dangote truck suffered brake failure and rammed into vehicles outside the institution on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

At least nine students died in the accident out of which three of the students are from the same mother.

Students of the Institution on January 24 began a protest which forced the management of AAUA to embark on an indefinite closure of the institution.
